In pursuing development of its concession areas, South American Iron & Steel seeks to be a community partner. It will strive to integrate the interests of various stake holders as strategic partners and to improve both the social conditions and environmental standards in the areas where it operates. SAIS will operate with a high level of social consciousness, particularly in support of local communities. The Company aims to improve health, work safety, environment and education for our local employees and communities.

SAIS believes it will optimise shareholder returns by undertaking efficient and environmentally acceptable mining practices. The Company plans to implement the latest low-impact mining techniques and value-added production, with minimal disruption of local lifestyles and environments.

The Company’s exploration and project development activities will generate the following positive impacts to stakeholders:
